New Bikes

Now that the warm weather is here the girls have been out on their bikes although they have all grown and were in need of new ones. Lucy has got a brand new bike (we even met Will Carling when we bought it !!) Katie has Lucy's old one and Hannah has a second hand bike from a friend, thanks.

After School Fun

With lovely weather this week the girls and Jack had great fun in the back garden to let off steam after school. We had lots of fun with the bubble machine and on the slide with also a special appearance from the up and coming pop star Hannah (singing into the handle of the trike !!)

Me thinks Lucy has grown out of the slide now !!

Snack time is much better sat on the slide !!

A star in the making !!

Trip to the Farm

We went to Odds Farm Park in the cold and wet today but had lots of fun feeding the animals. We went to see and activity every hour and learned a lot about all the animals at the farm.

The First activity we did was Bottle Feeding Lambs which was very hectic but great fun.

We then got to watch the cow being milked and got to stroke her afterwards.

In Rabbit Time we got to meet and stroke some bunnies and learn all about them.

We then went egg collecting where we firstly fed all the chickens from our hands and then collected all the eggs they had laid.

Other activities around the park were Go-Karting, many playgrounds and of course riding on the tractor.

The last activity of the day was Piggies Tea Time where we learned all about the pigs and then gave them their tea.

Finally as we left we fed the gorgeous baby goats.

First trip to Legoland

Finally we were all well enough and the weather was great so we took our first trip of the year to Legoland. Hannah is now tall enough to go on almost all the rides so we took her onto the Viking river splash for the first time and amzingly didn't get that wet !! We also went on the new Laser Ride shooting all the Egyptian Baddies, of course Mummy won !! Hannah also managed to drive the cars without crashing. And we also saw the new Bob the Builder show in 4D. Lots of fun was had by all even though we were very tired.

Happy Easter

We had many egg-citing activities over the Easter Weekend which involved lots of chocolate.

Hannah helped make Chocolate Krispies nests with mini eggs in.

Then the family came for lunch and they had an Easter Egg Hunt with Charlotte

Then we had Birthday Tea for Josh who had just turned 5.

And of course we all got lots of Easter Eggs from Aunties, Uncles and Grandparents.

On Easter Sunday unfortunately Katie was not well enough to go out to Gran & Mea's for Easter lunch so we stayed home. Luckily she was well enough to do the Treasure Hunt that the Easter Bunny had left the girls with lovely prizes.

Lovely Weather

We have recently had some lovely weather and the girls have had a great opportunity to play outside on the driveway with all their ride-on toys. I left them out there for five minutes and they had drawn a lovely road on the driveway with pedestrian crossings and car parking spaces. Great fun was had by all.

Trip to Henley

With Daddy away playing geeky games the girls and I zipped off in the Mini to Henley for a chilly walk by the river. We had a lovely time feeding the ducks and then playing in the park. It felt odd not having a cup of tea at Gran's to warm us up by the fire.
