Finkley Down Farm

One of our days out this holiday was to Finkley Down farm to meet Emma, Adam and Zoe. We had a lovely time even if the weather and traffic were not particularly kind to us. The girls held mice, chicks and rabbits and Katie groomed a horse.

We then went to Monkey World which was lovely as the Monkeys were very close to you.We went to a medieval town where they had a fabulous bird show that all the kids loved.

Days out on holiday

When we managed to get out of the swimming pool we had some lovely days out in France that everyone enjoyed.

Firstly before the Froys joined us we went to Futuroscope which was a big park with some fabulous shows and films to see, we all had a long tiring but great day. The girsl all loved the kids park and Hannah had a lovely time on some of the toddler rides.

Summer Holiday

This year we went to Couhe near Poitiers in France. We stayed in a lovely house with Sally, Alec & Jack and a fabulous swimming pool. Luckily this year the weather was fabulous and we spent a lot of time in the pool doing 'big sploshes' as Jack asked many a time for us to do.

Day at the seaside

As always at the end of term we go to the seaside for the day and visit Auntie Betty. This year we came very much prepared as it had rained for many days before and even a lot on the way down but as soon as we got over the downs the sun came out and we had glorious weather all day. The wind however was a bit too fierce so the kites couldn't be flown quite so well. The girls had a lovely day (so did Grandpa no doubt) and it was lovely to pop in to see Auntie Betty.

The girls had to dip their feet into the sea even though Hannah thought it freezing cold and screamed every time the water came near.

Afternoon chill

After a long term at school the TV went on soon after the girls got home. Jack as always likes to do what his cousins are doing, even bootball couldn't get him away from the telly.

Dancing Girls

For the last lesson of term parents were allowed to watch their girls in the dancing lessons. I had a lovely time watching my ballerinas, tap dancer and cheerleaders !!
