Legoland

Our first trip out to Legoland in the Easter holidays was with Grandma and Charlotte. We all had a lovely day.

Easter

Ok, so it's now May but hey it's better late than never.

On Easter Sunday the Easter bunny leaves a treasure hunt for the girls with clues to the final treasure. Lots of fun was has by all as always.

We then spent a lovely day at home mainly enjoying the lovely weather in the garden.

Hannah's Birthday

Yes it was my baby girl's 5th Birthday yesterday. We had a lovely morning opening all our exciting presents from Mummy and Daddy, and many of them went to school to be shown to our friends. Then just as much jumping up and down with excitement was after school when we found out that Mummy had changed Hannah's bedroom into a Disney Princess room so our new Cinderella dress from Auntie Val was then put on. More excitement to follow this weekend with a party with school friends on Sunday at Whoosh play centre and followed by tea with all the family.

World Book Day

Yet again we had to dress up as a character from a book to celebrate the end of Book Week. The kids had a great day finishing with a parade at the end of the day. Mummy on the other hand felt a total wally as she drove to school in her costume.

I was most impressed by my first attempt at face painting !!

Hannah went as Holly the Christmas Fairy

Katie went as Patch from 101 dalmatians

Lucy was the tiger who came to tea

And Mummy was a pirate from Peter Pan as the other staff in the preschool came as Peter Pan and Tinkerbell

Panto Time

Lucy stared in her first (and probably not the last) parish panto. It was a very hard week with a 4 hour rehearsal on Sunday, a technical rehearsal on Tuesday night, dress rehearsal Wednesday night and performances Thursday and Friday night and twice on Saturday.
But saying that she had a lovely time. Her part was a villager and she got to join in with all the songs and dancing and even had some parts in scenes acting. Next year she wants to do it all again but have some lines to learn as well.

A little late but only just got the photos.
