Ho ho ho it's Santa

Just before Christmas we go to the Catenian Christmas Party for some festive fun and a visit from Santa. This year we had some face painting and tattoos as well, although Daddy didn't quite get the festive theme for his face painting !!

Teenager

Last week Lucy finally became a teenager to match the moods we have recently had !! She had a lovely day with her friends coming over for a sleepover and then going to Coral Reef with her cousins.

Very pleased to discover she had been given an ipod touch !! And has yet to be parted from it.

Happy Halloween

On Saturday we celebrated an early Halloween with a whole gang of friends. We had a great evening with crafts and games all very spooky.

Day out to Paultons Park

As it was half term and we all needed a day out we went and visited Paultons Park, which includes Peppa Pig World, hurrah !! The younger members of the family had a lovely morning with Peppa on the rides whilst the older members went on the more scary rides of the park.

Jack and Hannah had a lovely time on the rides, chatting away, splashing in puddles !! Not sure they knew there was a dinosaur behind them !!

The older girls had a lovely time in the park with Harry whilst the parents had a much needed rest and cup of coffee !!

We got a bit more daring in the afternoon on bigger rides, Uncle Martin had lots of fun with Jack on the roller coaster (Jack is behind the frog loving the ride !!)

Then finally the most daring of the family went on the biggest scariest ride, which for all of them was the best ride of the day, especially Hannah who is usually too short to ride the roller coasters.

A lovely day was had even though we saw an amazing amount of rain, thankfully mostly from the car, and three rainbows !!

Katie's 10th Birthday

Katie finally hit double figures !! She celebrated her birthday my a trip out to Chessington for the day. At the weekend she had her party with her friends sno-tubing at the dry ski slope. Lots of fun was had by all (children & adults !!)

Unfortunately photos do not allow you to hear the noise going with each shot but you can imagine the screams going down !!

Hannah's first run had to be with Mummy as she had never done it before. However she then went up many more times, even alone !!

Bikes

One lovely weekend this summer we spent the afternoon with the bikes.

Katie had a new one for her birthday.

Hannah not to be outdone by her sisters wanted her stabilisers off and managed to ride her bike first time.

And Lucy enjoyed the sun !!

Summer Holiday - 1st Week

Our first week of holidays was spent south of Barcelona in a lovely modern 4 bedroom villa. We spent time either in the pool or in Port Aventura, the spanish theme park nearby.
