Katie's Show

In her final weeks at St Teresa's the Year 6 children performed a version of 'Wind in the Willows'. Katie had a fab time playing her various roles of a Weasel and a prisoner amongst other bits.

A chilly day out

We braved the horrid weather and visited Cotswold Wildlife Park yesterday and despite the wind and the rain had a lovely day. Would love to go back again in much nicer weather though.

Thankfully the train ride was under cover so we could sit down in the dry

We got a lovely close up look at the Lions as they were in their house, this one came up to the window and looked as though he wanted to kiss you !!

Of course Hannah was in heaven with all the giraffes being in their house so we could look at the for ages. This one looks as though it is kissing Hannah on the head !!

A blowy picture of the girls in a little shelter made out of leaves

Finally some warmth in the reptile house

Day out with the cousins

On Saturday we went out for the day to Chessington with our cousins. Despite being very cold and grey the kids were determined to get soaked !! Below is a lovely picture of the kids on the swing ride with a huge squirter aimed at them all.

The result very soggy kids

Jess with Hannah getting braver

Martin and Holly feeling very brave if a little sick after Ramesis Revenge
Martin, Josh and Hannah on the big swinging boat, not all brave enough to let go though

Katie, Lucy and Holly also on the boat. Katie wanted to put her arms in the air but as she was being lifted off her seat thought it unwise

Day at the Farm

Our last day of the Easter Holidays we spent the day with our cousins and friends at Odds Farm. Not sure who had the most fun but I think watching the cousins with the animals was the highlight !!
Last thing was the go-karts to totally tire us all out (Mummy including as she pushed Hannah round as she couldn't reach the pedals !!)
Jack had loads of fun feeding the sheep and goats. As soon as they ate the food he would squeal with joy as the animals tickled his hand.

We all went to the rabbit time where we could stroke the bunnies, doh cute.
And Harry loved to stroke them and make a funny face which was his was of saying it was a rabbit by twitching his nose !!
All the kids had lots of fun on the fitness trail.

Including the pink monkey !! The only one of us big / small enough climb these.
Our first activity was feeding the baby goats which Harry loved with many a 'baa'
And of course climbing on the tractor with his cousins / minders.

Off to Thorpe Park and Chessington

As it was the Easter Holidays we took our usual trips to Thorpe Park and Chessington. Many of the rides the older girls on I can't take photos of as they are too fast and too upside down so here are a few more sedate ones.

And Hannah, not allowed to go on the big ride herself loves to pretend she is on it by sitting in the chair and screaming !!

Visit to Auntie Viv

At the beginning of the Easter holidays we went to visit Auntie Viv for the day. The girls love going to Ham Hill everytime we go to see her as they love running around up and down all the hills in the disused quarry. They also ask everytime to have their photo taken in the stone with the hole as they remember having it taken each time we come as well as on the very top on Ham hill.

My new Brownie

So my last one went for a trial at Brownies before the holidays. She was so excited that she had to try the uniform on as soon as she found out. Now looking forward to going every week.
