Katie's 10th Birthday

Katie finally hit double figures !! She celebrated her birthday my a trip out to Chessington for the day. At the weekend she had her party with her friends sno-tubing at the dry ski slope. Lots of fun was had by all (children & adults !!)

Unfortunately photos do not allow you to hear the noise going with each shot but you can imagine the screams going down !!

Hannah's first run had to be with Mummy as she had never done it before. However she then went up many more times, even alone !!

Bikes

One lovely weekend this summer we spent the afternoon with the bikes.

Katie had a new one for her birthday.

Hannah not to be outdone by her sisters wanted her stabilisers off and managed to ride her bike first time.

And Lucy enjoyed the sun !!

Summer Holiday - 1st Week

Our first week of holidays was spent south of Barcelona in a lovely modern 4 bedroom villa. We spent time either in the pool or in Port Aventura, the spanish theme park nearby.

Lots of fun was had in the pool.

Summer Holidays - 2nd week

Our second week was spent near Sils, north of Barcelona along with the rest of the family. We had 6 children and 13 adults for most of the week plus a couple more for the weekend. The place was massive and plenty met our needs.

Tooth Fairy

The tooth fairy has been very busy in our house recently. Firstly Daddy had a wisdom tooth removed then Lucy bravely had 6 teeth removed and thus had to have a visit from the tooth fairy. Hannah then went on a tooth loosing spree. Her first top tooth was assisted by Lucy hitting her in the face, knocking the tooth out and Hannah swallowing it !!

The next top tooth after a few days of struggling to eat with a wobbly tooth came out whilst we were on holiday. Thankfully we had a tooth fairy hole by her bedroom door. However Hannah felt the tooth was a little dirty to give the tooth fairy and thus tried washing it but managed to drop it down the sink. As luck would have it a great idea from Auntie Sally meant that Hannah wrote a beautiful letter to the tooth fairy and resulted in a euro being left for the missing tooth (which I believe was then lost !!)

Finally on our last day of the holidays Hannah then lost her wobbly bottom tooth but this time was carefully looked after and was left for the tooth fairy.

Phew lets hope we keep our teeth for a little longer to enable the tooth fairy to save up again.

Matt & Karen's Wedding

At the beginning of August was Karen & Matthew's wedding in Westminster Cathedral followed by a fab reception near Hampton Court. As you can see the girls were all beautiful in their dresses and were amazing during the very tiring day.

How they have grown

We then visited Marwell Zoo and took a picture of the girls outside the giraffe house which reminded me of the last visit when we took a similar picture. Still the same pickles but now much bigger and including Hannah who was in the pram at the time of the first.
